The prodromal stage of schizophrenia may not have too many obvious symptoms, but after entering the attack stage, it may be manifested as five symptom groups: hallucination, delusion, negative, disintegration, anxiety, depression and agitation. Among them, the first three kinds of symptoms are specific manifestations of schizophrenia.
in psychiatry, it belongs to the category of “thinking content disorder”, which shows that they firmly believe in groundless wrong ideas. For example, they always suspect that others are targeting, commenting and persecuting themselves, and even suspect that they are not born by their parents; they exaggerate their identity and ability. Among them, delusion of victimization and delusion of relationship are more common.
about 30% of patients have hallucinations, of which auditory hallucination is the most common, accounting for about 90% .
1. Auditory hallucination: it can be non-verbal, such as the sound of insects and birds, the rumbling sound of vehicles, ships and machines, or the sound of music; it can also be verbal. For example, hearing someone calling his name, or abusive language or argument, or the speech from gods or aliens, the patient talks to himself, laughs or suddenly without reason Attack others.
generally speaking, critical auditory hallucinations, argumentative auditory hallucinations or imperative auditory hallucinations in a state of clear consciousness are likely to be schizophrenia. Auditory hallucination can also be manifested as the sound of thinking, that is, the thinking of patients is read out by their own voice.
it is manifested as thinking obstacle in language form, that is, speaking without logic. There is no connection or causal relationship between the things described by patients, and the language is loose, confusing or wordy, so it is difficult to talk with them.
there are also people who have broken thinking, that is, when telling or writing a sentence, the meaning of each sentence is not related to each other, all words are piled up, and the whole paragraph is incomprehensible. In serious cases, the language is fragmented, and there is no connection between individual words and sentences. For example:
the so-called “advanced emotional function” refers to people’s attitudes towards things outside the world, such as love, hate, happiness, sadness, fear, which we often call “feelings”. The inappropriate emotion is that the patient’s emotional expression is not in harmony with the external environment and internal experience, such as extreme anger, happiness or anxiety because of a small matter, or the performance of emotional inversion, or continued to laugh alone, or the performance of fantasy nature of ecstasy and grief.
apathy is the most common emotional disorder in schizophrenia. It is characterized by aloofness, indifference to the people around them and not accepting the care of others. In addition, discordant excitement, irritability, depression, anxiety and other emotional symptoms are more common.
due to abnormal perception and logic disorder, patients often have some strange behaviors, which are monotonous, repetitive, disorderly, lack of purpose or ritualized behavior, which can not be understood by others.
some people suddenly become depressed, become lazy in life, unwilling to wash their faces and hair, have no enterprising spirit in work and study, muddle along, and even show tension, numbness and excitement.
if a quiet person suddenly goes out frequently, runs around and doesn’t return home at night, and asks him why, the answer is “I received the radio in my head, let me send information to XX place”, it may be a manifestation of schizophrenia.
mainly refers to emotional, social and cognitive defects. The expert consensus meeting organized by the National Institute of Mental Health pointed out that depression and lack of pleasure are the most common negative symptoms of schizophrenia .
those who are serious are bedridden all day long, solitary and isolated, passive in behavior, even unable to take care of themselves in their personal life, and even lack of instinctive desires.
2. They can’t find and get pleasure from daily activities, and they don’t expect pleasure from the activities they will take part in, and they will last for a long time.
for example, a person who used to like to watch movies now refers to “boring and lazy to watch”; he refuses to take part in a trip arranged with his lover because he “has no expectation”.
